The Barber Shop

Project Outline: The Grade II listed building was built in the 17th Century before becoming a barbershop in the 1800’s. The building included a shop floor at the bottom along with 3 bedrooms and a loft on the second floor. It was in a state of disrepair and the roof which consisted of old quirky trusses had to be strengthened with a new machine cut framework.

We supplied over 176 square metres of our CosyWool Roll in October 2022. We filmed the Thermafleece production process in January 23 and the programme was aired in March 24.

Design and Installation Criteria:
The 300 year old barber shop needed a complete overhaul and owners Rollo and Olivia were adamant that they wanted sustainable products which fit with the age of the building. Project Outline: The challenge was to renovate this old building into a modern family home, converting the loft and create a modern open-plan ground floor
