16 Club Row
Project Outline: 16 Club Row is a space for collaboration. It is where architects, artists, activists, cultural makers, publishers, designers and academics go to challenge and question what is relevant. A space to find questions to the often way too readily available answers of our built environment.
The building is located at Arnold Circus an area which was known as the worst slum in London. Now entirely transformed, Arnold Circus exists as a diverse and desirable heart of Shoreditch.
Product Details
Thermafleece UltraWool insulation used in ceiling and floors of the showroom and atelier, Thermafleece CosyWool used in the walls.
Design and Installation Criteria:
‘In creating the new office space in London, we made it our mission to exclusively work with natural materials and only the most outstanding products, inventions materials and designs from our many years of global practice.
Everything counts: Insulating only a single home could easily reduce its carbon-footprint by up to 10000kg CO2 a year. Even the most basic layer of building insulation in single-family homes would reduce greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to taking nearly 40 million cars off the road each year in the E.U. alone.’
